AXI opens new headquarters in Mechelen: a new phase of growth and synergy

AXI proudly announces the opening of its brand-new headquarters at Stephenson Plaza in Mechelen. Following the earlier relocation of AXI, the teams of AXI Holding Services and Netleaf have now also moved into the building. With this move, AXI brings together its expertise from its former locations in Willebroek and Rumst under one roof.

The opening of the new headquarters marks an important milestone in the group’s growth strategy. By literally bringing together the strengths of its different business units in one central location, AXI is fully committing to cross-pollination and even closer collaboration.

A modern hub for innovation

After AXI Digital took up residence on the second floor earlier this year, the extensive renovation works on the third and fourth floors have now also been completed. The result is a high-quality working environment that is fully aligned with the needs of the modern IT professional and the ambitions of the group.

The office serves as an inspiring hub and features:

  • State-of-the-art workspaces and meeting rooms: Designed to facilitate hybrid collaboration and innovation between different teams.
  • Experience and relaxation: An inviting bar and a spacious dining area that act as the social heart for lunches and events.
  • Exclusive rooftop terrace: As the finishing touch, the rooftop terrace provides the ideal setting for outdoor meetings and informal networking moments.

Growing together as one company

This new office is the physical embodiment of what AXI stands for. It is an environment that encourages dialogue, allowing us to truly understand our customers’ needs. In Mechelen, we are literally closer to each other to help one another succeed, with the shared goal of continuing to grow as one strong organization and as a trusted partner for our customers.

“With this new headquarters, we are creating the ideal breeding ground for further growth,” says Bart Verhelst, CEO of AXI Group. “By concentrating the expertise of AXI, AXI Holding Services and Netleaf in one place, we can shorten communication lines and offer our customers an even broader and more integrated range of solutions. It is a place where our company culture truly comes to life.”

With the commissioning of this new building, AXI is ready for the future, where connection and innovation will continue to shape its direction.
