AXI has acquired Syntory Group, the IT services provider formed in 2022 through the merger of cybersecurity specialist Netleaf and Core ICT, experts in IT infrastructure. This acquisition brings additional experience and manpower to the company, enabling us to continue meeting the growing demand for robust, scalable, and reliable IT solutions.
For Paul Peeters, CEO of AXI Digital, the acquisition offers numerous advantages for both parties' customers: "AXI provides a broad range of IT services, but with Netleaf and Core ICT on board, we can delve even deeper into cybersecurity and IT infrastructure. They are a valuable addition to our existing services. And conversely, we are eager to engage with their customers to see how they can benefit from our expertise in digital transformation."
Netleaf: ambitious cybersecurity specialists
Netleaf specializes in network infrastructure and security. It provides customized solutions that protect companies against cyberattacks while simultaneously optimizing network quality. The company has grown significantly over the past two years. The increased global cyber threat is certainly a contributing factor.
For CEO Kris Leysen, the acquisition by AXI is an important next step: "When we merged with Core ICT into the Syntory holding company in 2022, it gave our company wings. Today, the acquisition by AXI should provide new leverage for the realization of our ambitious growth plans, particularly regarding our Cyber Defense Center, the Security Operations Center (SOC) we established ourselves."
Core ICT: Future-proof IT infrastructure
Core ICT aims to unburden its customers of all IT infrastructure-related issues. The company offers high-quality IT infrastructures and provides a wide range of service-based support services, ranging from design and implementation to management and maintenance. The goal? A reliable, sustainable, and scalable IT infrastructure.
Frank Huyge, CEO of Core ICT, also sees numerous advantages in joining AXI, especially regarding customer services: "The integration of Core ICT into AXI adds the additional knowledge and capacity we need to serve our customers even better. But the collaboration also creates new opportunities to develop innovative solutions that address the many challenges inherent in modern business environments."
