AXI Group takes new strategic step to realize growth ambitions
In recent years, AXI has grown significantly, primarily through organic growth. Since the investment of investor Strada Partners, AXI has already made several major acquisitions, including Tilroy, InterIT, and ITP Group. The new streamlined group structure is a logical next step in AXI's growth ambitions.
AXI Software and AXI Digital
Today, AXI is taking another important step. AXI is regrouping its internal structure into two separate entities: AXI Software develops and manages software solutions and services for retail, government, healthcare, service, and industry, and accounts for approximately 40% of revenue in Belgium and the Netherlands. AXI Digital guides organizations in the Benelux in their digital transformation by offering a broad portfolio of IT infrastructure solutions and managed services within the domains of cloud, storage, networking, connectivity, security, and digital workplace.
Both entities will further enhance AXI's ability to respond to new technologies and perfectly guide its customers, including De Bijenkorf, Colruyt, Intergamma (Gamma & Karwei), PLUS Retail, Hans Anders, the Council of State (NL), the Federal Public Service Justice, Umicore, Renewi, ZNA, and Baloise, in their digital transformation through innovative solutions and services.
Paul Peeters, current CEO of AXI: "AXI continues to evolve to meet today's digital challenges and offer our customers the best possible support. Thanks to our strong partnerships with market leaders including Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, HP, HPE, Posit, Aruba, Lenovo, Dell, and Proximus, we are able to continuously improve our solutions and services and respond quickly to changes," he concludes.
Ron van den Broek CEO AXI Software
Starting October 30, 2023, Dutchman Ron van den Broek will join AXI Group as the new CEO of the AXI Software entity. Thanks to his extensive experience in the SaaS industry and as former CEO of Keylane, which developed software for insurers and pension organizations, he will support the AXI Group with its dedication and expertise in offering innovative software products.
"I'm very much looking forward to joining this team. With this new structure, we are ready to optimally support our customers in their digital transformation and continue to offer them comprehensive solutions," says Ron van den Broek, CEO of AXI Software.
