Familiehulp: Smartphone-as-a-Service

Challenge

Familiehulp, the largest home care organization in Flanders and Brussels, set out to modernize its operations as part of a broader digital transformation strategy. With more than 9,000 field workers relying on outdated processes, the organization needed a scalable solution to streamline back-office activities, reduce paper usage, and deliver more personalized care. Ensuring device security and providing consistent management support were also critical requirements.

Solution

In partnership with Proximus, A&M implemented a comprehensive Smartphones as a Service solution. This included the delivery of Samsung devices preloaded with applications tailored to Familiehulp’s activities. A&M integrated the devices with Microsoft Intune and Samsung KNOX for secure, efficient management and set up a seamless online portal for ease of use.

Implementation

A&M ensured a structured rollout with minimal disruption. Each of the 9,000 employees received a personalized device and was immediately operational. Familiehulp staff also gained access to a Proximus helpdesk for ongoing smartphone support, while a dedicated swap pool guaranteed device replacement within hours when needed.

Result

The solution enabled Familiehulp to digitize workflows, improve field communication, and enhance service quality. With reliable devices and expert support, employees can now focus on delivering exceptional care, backed by a secure and efficient IT infrastructure.
